RS/tRNA Pair Usage Information
In E coli expressions, the Mj RS leads to higher protein expression than does the Ec RS (in the 2010 foundational paper), and is also easier to use as it does not require a special E. coli strain. The Ec RS has been used in CHO and HEK293 cells.
