In DH10B cells, a pBK vector containing ONBTyrRS/MjtRNAtyr was co-transformed with a pBAD/JYAMB-4TAG which encodes sperm whale myoglobin in the presence of 1mM ONBY. Following purification via Ni-affinity chromatography, protein yield was measured at 2-3mg/L. No protein was observed in the absence of ONBY. Results confirmed by mass spectrometry.
