In DH10B cells, mutated sperm whale myoglobin with a His6 tag was co-transformed with PlaRS/MjtRNAtyr in the presence or absence of 1mM of p-Hydroxy-phenyllactic acid. 2-3mg/L of full yield mutant myoglobin was only found in the presence of ncAA. Results confirmed by ESI-MS
