In E coli using 1 mM ncAA yielded 3 mg/L myoglobin(4) with incorporation confirmed by MS. Incorporation into GFP(37) in HEK cells led to ncAA dependent fluorescence showing fidelity of incorporation. The incorporated ncAA was able to carry out photo-click chemistry.
